Day three

Moscow City tour and the Tretyakov Gallery

The 2nd day of the tour is dedicated to visiting Red Square, St. Basil's Cathedral, GUM. A pleasant end of the day and its highlight will be a visit to the Tretyakov Gallery, where you should definitely see the most famous works of the Russian painting - Malevich's Black Square, Shishkin's Morning in a Pine Forest, Vasnetsov's Heroes, Ivan the Terrible and his Son Ivan 16 November 1581 by Repin and many others.

Panoramic City View, Subway Ride and Flight to Irkutsk

Sparrow Hills is a large park on the slope opposite Luzhniki. It is considered one of the seven hills of Moscow.

The main building of Moscow State University is the central building of the university complex, the highest of the seven Stalinist skyscrapers with the height of 183 meters.

Irkutsk City Tour and visit to the Znamensky Monastery

Irkutsk is a unique city, the cultural capital of eastern Siberia. The proximity to Lake Baikal makes it a real Siberian tourist center. Today, Irkutsk is among the largest cities in the Russian Federation and has the status of one of seven cities with a unique historical and cultural heritage.

Listvyanka Village Tour, Baikal Museum and “Taltsy” Museum

Listvyanka is a village located at the source of the Angara River, the only river flowing from Lake Baikal. “Taltsy” Museum - an open-air museum of wooden architecture located in Taltsy Village.

Flight to Saint Petersburg and Guided Tour to the Hermitage museum

The state museum Hermitage in St. Petersburg is a unique palace complex in which rare and richest expositions of masterpieces of painting, sculptures and architecture and also historical values of the previous centuries are collected. Saint Petersburg City Tour

This day is dedicated to a sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg - a city, which was the official capital of the Russian state for almost 2 centuries (from 1730 to 1918). You will visit St. Isaac's Cathedral, which is considered the largest cathedral in Russia, the Savior on Spilled Blood, Nevsky Prospect and many other sights.

Day nine

Trip to Peterhof

Peterhof was the summer residence of Peter the Great. The Peterhof fountain complex has 173 fountains and 4 cascades. Peterhof was built on the one hand in response to Versailles, and on the other hand, as a triumphal monument to the successful completion of Russia's struggle and access to the Baltic Sea.

Day ten

Trip to Pushkin

Catherine Palace is not conceding on beauty to Peterhof and morover the Amber room, a unique gift to Peter I from the Prussian king, is located there. During its existence, the palace was the official summer residence of three Russian monarchs - Catherine I, Elizabeth Petrovna and Catherine II.

Day one

Arrival to Moscow

Your personal driver will meet you in the airport and transfer to a centrally located 4-star hotel for check in.

The rest of the day is your leisure time. You can start discovering Moscow city centre, enjoy the local food in one of the traditional restaurants.

Day two

Tour to the Kremlin and the Armoury Chamber

After breakfast, you will start your guided tour to the Kremlin, passing its main entrance - the Spassky Gate, which is located opposite to the St. Basil's Cathedral and face the Red Square.

You will also visit the Armory Chamber which collection has begun to form in the 15th century as a private treasure trove of the great Moscow tsars. The basis of the museum collection consists of precious objects made in the Kremlin workshops and received as a gift from the Embassies of foreign countries.

The rest of the day is your leisure time. Enjoy the local cuisine in one of the centrally located restaurants or continue exploring Moscow on your own.

Day three

Moscow City tour and the Tretyakov Gallery

After breakfast, your local English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to start the fascinating tour of Moscow sights. During this day you will visit the Red Square - the main square of the capital of Russia which is located at the walls of the Moscow Kremlin. Then you will discover a picturesque St.Basil's Cathedral built in the middle of the 16th century under Tsar Ivan the Terrible order to commemorate the conquest of the Kazan Khanate.

Further your guide will introduce you one of the largest stores in Europe – GUM, which has been operating since 1893.

After lunch (not included) you will explore the Tretyakov Gallery - the world's largest collection of Russian painting, drawing and sculpture which grew out of private collections of the brothers Pavel and Sergey Tretyakov. Currently the gallery features over 180 thousand exhibits.

After visiting the Gallery, you have free time before boarding train to Irkutsk.

Panoramic City View, Subway Ride and Flight to Irkutsk

After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, you can enjoy an unforgettable view from the Sparrow Hills to Moscow - the city is especially beautiful from this location. You can also enjoy the view of Moscow State University - the highest Stalinist skyscraper.

Later you will go down to the Moscow metro and take a short sightseeing trip.

After lunch, the driver will deliver you to Moscow Airport for the flight to Irkutsk.

Day five

Irkutsk City Tour and visit to the Znamensky Monastery

After the rest and your breakfast, you will start Irkutsk city tour – also known as “Paris of Siberia”.

You will visit Angara embankment, the Monument to Jacob Pokhabov – the founder of the city. Then you will proceed to the Catholic Cathedral, also known as the Polish Roman Church.

Further you will move to the one of the oldest monasteries in Siberia - Znamensky Monastery - founded in 1689.

The rest of the tour is dedicated to the Block 130. The Block 130, also known as Irkutskaya Sloboda, is a historical zone with many wooden houses constructed in the 18th century.

Day six

Listvyanka Village Tour, Baikal Museum and “Taltsy” Museum

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Listvyanka Village. You will enjoy a guided tour around Listvyanka Village. During the tour, you will visit the Baikal Limnological Museum and Aquarium that houses an interesting display of the unique flora and fauna of the lake.

Then you will take a chair-lift to the nearby viewpoint to take some magnificent panoramic pictures of Baikal, view the Chersky Rock and visit the 19th century wooden St. Nicolas church.

The rest of the tour is dedicated to the exploration of “Taltsy” Museum - an open-air museum of wooden architecture located in Taltsy Village.

The museum retrospectively recreated four historical and cultural zones: Russian, Buryat, Evenki and Tofalar. The funds of the museum "Taltsy" has more than 20 thousand exhibits.

After the tour, you will be transferred to Irkutsk and have the rest of the day as your leisure time.

Flight to Saint Petersburg and Guided Tour to the Hermitage museum

After your breakfast and check-out from the hotel, you will be transferred to Irkutsk airport for the flight to Saint Petersburg.

Your personal driver will meet you in the airport and transfer to a centrally located 4-star hotel for check in.

You will meet your local guide in the hotel lobby and start the tour to the Hermitage Museum.

The Hermitage Museum is the largest State Museum in Russia and one of the ten most popular cultural, historical and art museums in the world. The most significant museum building is the Winter Palace which is famous for its history and marvelous exterior and interior.

The pearls of the collection of old European paintings are the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Titian, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. The museum has a rich collection of paintings by Rubens, Rembrandt, Van Duck, Poisson, Veronese, Claude Lorrain and others.

The rest of the day is your leisure time.

Day eight

Saint Petersburg City Tour

After breakfast the guide will meet you at the hotel lobby. The day is devoted to the exploration of the main Saint Petersburg sights. You will walk along Nevsky avenue to take photos in the most beautiful places of this picturesque street such as the Kazan Cathedral, the Palace Square and some others.

Then you will continue the excursion and visit the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral and the Peter-and-Paul Fortress –the burial place of most of the Russian Emperors and Empresses.

After that, you will be transferred to the Spilled Blood Church built in the memory of the fact that the Emperor Alexander II was mortally wounded in the result of the assassination attempt on 1 March 1881. After visiting the sight, you will have time for lunch in one of the restaurants with the local cuisine.

The highlight of this day is the Saint Isaac’s Cathedral - the largest Orthodox church in St. Petersburg.

Trip to Peterhof

Today you will visit Peterhof - the monument of architecture and landscape art of the first quarter of the XVIII century, received world fame as the "capital of fountains".

You will visit the Bath Cottage and get the insight into the everyday life of the Russian nobility, stroll in the beautiful Lower Park, luxuriously decorated with the 176 fountains of various shapes and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes, and explore the Grand Palace (outside).

Trip to Pushkin

After breakfast your guide will meet you at the lobby to accompany to the Catherine’s Palace – a prominent example of baroque architecture and the former residence of Catherine I, Elizabeth Petrovna and Catherine II, located 26 km south from Saint Petersburg in Tsarskoye Selo (now Pushkin).

During the tour you will enjoy the marvelous views of Catherine’s park, visit the replica of the world-famous Amber Room.
